Principal
Estes Elementary is a cornerstone of the Marana Unified School District, holding the honor of being the first elementary school opening in 1955. This rich community has grown and developed since then, and it is an honor to be a part of this ongoing legacy.
At Estes, we are a place where every student is safe, loved, and challenged. We strive to live out this vision each and every day through high academic and social expectations for our staff and students. All of us are lifelong learners, and we want Estes to be a place where every student gets the opportunity to learn at high levels and be successful.
We value communication and want you to have the information you need. The weekly Tuesday News is an email update that shares school news, upcoming events, and celebrations. Please follow our Estes Facebook and Estes PTO Facebook pages, as well as the Estes website, as they are updated frequently. For information on academic progress, along with progress reports from your child’s teachers, the MUSD Connection link on our website is your online access to current grades. Strong connections between caregivers and teachers is a critical component for student success.
As an educator that has spent her entire career in MUSD, I am honored to serve as your principal here at Estes. Throughout the last 26 years, I have served as a teacher, instructional coach, and instructional coordinator here in MUSD, always committed to strong instruction and deep connections. My own children went to this school, and Estes has been a foundation to their educational journey. I am proud to return to Estes as a leader in this rich community.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership!
