Find your career at Marana Schools! MUSD is hosting a Job Fair on Saturday,  Feb 1 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Mountain View High School Library. Numerous support staff and certified/exempt positions across MUSD schools and the District are being filled. 

MUSD’s Marana Cares Mobile food bus will be on the streets again during the upcoming 2024 Winter Break serving FREE, nutritious and delicious meals to ALL children.

MUSD is one of the 60 Local Education Agencies (LEAs) chosen to participate in the 2024-2025 Energy Champions Leading the Advancement of Sustainable Schools program.

Cultural Event Night brought families together for a hands-on journey into the art of painting and etching horse hair ornaments. 

Congratulations to the six Marana Unified School District teachers named winners of the $2500 Fiesta Bowl Wishes for Teachers Grant, allowing these teachers to enhance the classroom experience and offer more opportunities for student success.

The renewal of the existing override allows us to continue to offer full-day kindergarten, elementary and secondary school electives, access to counselors, and protect class sizes. The approved increase of approximately $5 million will be used for people, specifically to increase teacher and support staff salaries and wages.

A generous $33,000 donation from the Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene will help provide nutritious snacks to students identified as chronically hungry through the district’s Power Pack Program. 

MUSD celebrates Substitute Educator Appreciation Day on November 22. Thank you to all of our substitute teachers at MUSD who support Marana Schools and our students!

MUSD Student and Family Services hosted a successful Winter Warm Up event, providing jackets, winter clothing and blankets to more than 230 people.

Reduce taxes, benefit MUSD students! The state of Arizona allows taxpayers to receive a dollar-to-dollar tax credit (up to $400) on state taxes for donations that benefit students in public schools!

Open Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year opens November 1! Open enrollment is for students who wish to attend a MUSD school where they do not live within the school’s attendance boundaries.

Marana Unified School District’s Summer Success Program was recognized with the Out-of-School Time Award of Excellence.

Dr. Streeter discussed Prop 411 and the two new schools coming to MUSD, Marana Vista Academy (Formerly iChoose Academy) and the new K-8 in Gladden Farms, on the Local Marana Podcast.

Marana Schools doubled its number of A-rated schools, from 5 to 10 in one year, the most A-rated schools in MUSD’s history!

MUSD brought together nearly 180 key stakeholders from across the community to provide input and help shape the foundation for the District’s strategic planning process.

Working with businesses, faith-based partners, parents, and community advocates, school leaders explored creative and productive ways to support their students, staff, & families.

A National Day of Service was hosted in honor of the 9/11 anniversary, transforming it into a day of doing good. Nearly 450 students, staff, community partners and volunteers made a big difference!

Town of Marana Fall Festival: Students and families are invited to enjoy an evening on the farm at the Town of Marana’s upcoming Fall Festival on October 12!
