Free Meals for Kids: Marana Cares Mobile Returns for Summer Break!

Marana Unified School District's Marana Cares Mobile food bus will be on the streets again during the upcoming 2025 summer break, serving FREE, nutritious and delicious meals to ALL children.

Marana Cares Mobile services during Summer break at select locations:

Dates:

Monday - Fridays
May 27-July 25. Excludes May 26 and July 4, 2025.

Marana Cares Mobile Times and Locations:

• 11:00 - 12:00 pm: Picture Rocks Fire Department 7341 N. Sandario Rd.
• 12:30 - 1:30pm: Water Company N. Anyway Rd & W. El Tiro Rd.

Created from a retired school bus in 2015, Marana Cares Mobile offers FREE nutritious and delicious meals to children.

“In many cases our schools provide services to our community that extend beyond classroom instruction,” said Dr. Dan Streeter, Marana District superintendent. “Our Marana Cares Mobile allows us to continue to provide these opportunities to our community during our school breaks. Knowing that nutrition is critical to a child's ability to learn and be successful, this service allows us to meet those needs during school breaks so that our students return ready to learn.”
