RE Presented with Musical Instrument Donation!

Roadrunner Elementary was presented with a donation of musical instruments from Kiwanis Club of the Desert. The Desert Club raised $4,500 to purchase alto saxophones, clarinets, flutes and instrument supplies and cleaners. The club raised donations and got supplies from Vulcan Materials, CalPortland and the Chicago Music Store. With these donations, The Desert Kiwanis club was able to present seven instruments and supplies to Ms. Erica Nagode, music teacher at Roadrunner Elementary, and her students during an assembly. This donation will allow more Roadrunner students to have the opportunity to learn how to play musical instruments in class.

The Desert Kiwanis club expects to continue its tradition of hosting an annual drive for the purchase of musical instruments across elementary schools in MUSD in the coming years.
