School Supplies

2025-26 Estes 2nd Grade Classroom Supply Lists

*Although Marana Unified provides necessary items to support the curriculum, many students enjoy having their own supplies. The following is a list of items we will be using in the 2nd  grade.*

These are items the class will use on a daily basis and will be community supplies:

  • 2 package of Black Expo Dry Erase Markers
  • 2 boxes of Crayola 24 count crayons
  • 1 box of colored Crayola pencils
  • 1 box of 10 classic colored Crayola washable markers
  • 2 boxes of 24 sharpened #2 pencils (Ticonderoga are preferred)
  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • 1 package of water color paint
  • 2 large packages of glue sticks
  • 1 White Elmers Glue
  • 1 composition book (wide ruled)
  • 1 pair of headphones (earbuds do not work well for smaller ears)
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 ream of white copy paper
  • 1 ream white card stock
  • 1 pack of sticky notes
  • 2 Black permanent markers
  • Disinfecting surface wipes
  • Galvan’s Class: 1 bag of paper or plastic disposable plates
  • Johnson’s Class: popsicle sticks
  • Pollock’s Class: foil
  • Willett’s Class: 1 box of Dixie cups

Extra Donations that are always welcomed for our crafts and projects: brown paper bags, plastic cups, plastic silverware, card stock, paper zip-loc bags, white paper towels, reams of copy paper, cleaning wipes, felt, glue sticks, permanent markers, and extra dry erase markers.

Your child should have a backpack, do not bring rolling backpacks to school, we have limited space in the classroom and they do not fit on the hooks in the classroom. Please be sure your child’s name is written with permanent marker on their backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles and jackets. Thank you for helping with the school supplies.
