School Supplies

2024-25 Estes 2nd Grade Classroom Supply Lists

These are items the class will use on a daily basis and will be community supplies for the classroom.

  • 1 package of Black Expo Dry Erase Markers
  • 2 boxes of Crayola 24 count crayons
  • 1 box of colored Crayola pencils
  • 1 box of 10 classic colored Crayola washable markers 
  • 2 boxes of 24 sharpened #2 pencils (Ticonderoga are preferred)
  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • 2 packages of water color paint
  • 2 large packages of glue sticks
  • 1 composition book (wide ruled)
  • 1 pair of headphones (earbuds do not work well for smaller ears)
  • 1 package of index cards (3x5)
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 ream of white copy paper
  • 1 box of sandwich Zip-Loc bags
  • Girls bring: 1 box of Dixie cups
  • Boys bring: 1 bag of paper or plastic disposable plates

Extra Donations that are always welcomed for our crafts and projects: Plastic cups, plastic silverware, card stock paper, popsicle sticks, paper towels, reams of copy paper, cleaning wipes, felt, glue sticks, permanent markers, white card stock, and dry erase markers.
    
Your child should have a backpack,  do not bring rolling backpacks to school, we have limited space in the classroom and they do not fit on the hooks in the classroom.   Please be sure your child’s name is written with permanent marker on their backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles and jackets.  Thank you for helping with the school supplies.  I look forward to working with you and your child over the coming year.  I hope to see you at the Meet and Greet!
