School Supplies

2026-27 Estes 5th Grade Classroom Supply Lists

*Although Marana Unified provides necessary items to support the curriculum, many students enjoy having their own supplies. The following is a list of items we will be using in 6th grade.*

Individual items that will not be shared:

  • #2 pencils or mechanical pencils (with extra lead)
  • Earbuds
  • Post-It notes
  • Glue sticks
  • Highlighters
  • Thin markers
  • Erasers
  • Scissors (adult size)
  • 1 1/2 in. 3-ring binder
  • 1 2-pocket folder
  • 5 spiral-bound wide-ruled notebooks
  • 1 pencil bag to hold supplies
  • Reusable water bottle (name on it)
  • Wide-ruled notebook paper
  • Black Sharpies
  • Black dry erase markers
  • Travel-size deodorant
  • Backpack

Wish List items for shared classroom use (optional):

  • Tissues
  • Colored paper
  • White cardstock
  • Wide-ruled notebook paper
  • Wipes (baby wipes or disinfecting wipes)
  • Paper plates and napkins

Note: The sixth-grade program will operate using a middle school model where students move between classes for different subjects and carry their supplies in a backpack to develop organizational and time-management skills. This transition prepares students for success in secondary education and makes the move to middle school smoother.
